06 Nov Freeing Freddie workshops with Holiday School learners- October 2015
Freeing Freddie is a book that captivates audiences through a boy named Freddie and his magical story. Freddie who lives in a magical forest, becomes entangled in an old spiders web. The old web that Freddie becomes entangled in is symbolic of his fears. The story then takes you on a journey as he meets a giant friendly spider – Mr. Cotton. Mr. Cotton becomes the boy’s teacher and guide and helps give Freddie tools to overcome his fears.
Freeing Freddie workshops: During our recent Holiday Schools, Kim Normand Feinberg, Karabo Leopeng and the author Brent Feinberg facilitated workshops on letting go of your fears, overcoming challenges and pursuing your dreams. The book ‘Freeing Freddie’ was used as part of the workshops; it was a great mechanism to easily communicate the message to the learners. The author of Freeing Freddie Brent Feinberg has kindly committed to donating 70% of the proceeds on each copy sold to the Tomorrow Trust. Each learner received a copy of this great book.
