Future vision for Holiday Schools
To expand the programme nationally in order to include as many orphans and vulnerable children affected by HIV/AIDS as possible. To give an impactful out reach programme to private schools and private teachers so as to create a system by which the children are exposed to the best teachers and facilities the country has to offer. Through this programme the children will have the opportunity to enjoy and develop in a positive pro-active way with a holistic educational programme.
Aims for 2007
In 2007 the programme will be rolled out in the following areas: Western Cape , Mpumalanga and Eastern Cape . The existing programme will expand in the Gauteng area to include learners from Alexandra Township and with greater numbers from Soweto . Gauteng and Pretoria will now include children in grades 0, 1, 2 so that the foundation phase is developed with strength and understanding. |
