Holiday School Programme Christmas and Awards Ceremony

The month of November 2014 has been such an exciting one for the Tomorrow Trust Holiday School Programme. We had Christmas parties, Santa, motivational speakers and awards all in one month!!

On the 6th of  November 2014, all of our grade 8s and 9s attended their end of year function and awards ceremony at the Origins Centre – University of the Witwatersrand. It was such a beautiful and historical venue as the backdrop to our learner’s achievements. These students have been with us since grade 1, and we are so proud of their achievements. Their marks are inspirational with improvements from 35% to over 80% as average! We are also so grateful to alumnus Karabo Leopeng who graced us with her presence, she was addressing and moving the students with her own story.

Grade 11 and 12 awards were held on the 13th of November 2014. The event was held at the Joburg Theatre, and the students were addressed by one of our fantastic alumni, Leeto Khoza, who is currently working at Eye Witness News. We are so thankful to everyone who was involved for a lovely day of celebrating our learner’s achievements!

On the 20th  November 2014 the Tomorrow Trust  ‬ team threw a Christmas party for the Juniors in Cape Town. The event was held  at Constantiaberg Pre-primary. There were presents, delicious food, arts and crafts, and a visit from Santa!

On the 29th November 2014  the Tomorrow Trust Johannesburg Junior Holiday School Programme had their Christmas Party. There were presents, a visit from Father Christmas, and the making of tasty Christmas goodies. A big thank you to the Brait Foundation for donating gift packs for the kids, and joining in on the fun of the day.
