Women for Tomorrow
Our vision is to have women around our
country as well as internationally assisting our work with
Orphans and
vulnerable children - mainly affected by HIV/Aids.
We want
to have fun with meaning - breakfasts; lunches; cocktails
etc.. with wonderful speakers who have already
committed.
The main part of this is that you as powerful,
compassionate women would create an energy and take on
as much as or
as little of a commitment as you may feel you can. But
no matter what YOU will make a difference !
To date we
have held two forums, the first was held at the home
of Kim Feinberg where our trustee, Sam Cowen,
gave an inspirational talk on the power of women and
two of our female students told their life stories to illustrate
the need for the trust and the internal strength that
women
have.
The second forum was held at the launch
of the new Jenna Clifford store in Cedar Square. Jenna
Clifford gave
a talk
on drawing on the power from within and then awarded
two of our students with pendants for their determination
to
succeed despite their difficult backgrounds.
Both events
where a great success with many women eager to get involved
in a variety of ways. The next forum is
due to be held in conjunction with the launch of the
new book, “A Mother’s Legacy” in November.
