On Friday 30th November, Linda was asked to come to the Tomorrow Trust offices as he thought that he would be attending a conference. At 8.20am the phone rang and it was The Rude Awakening on 94.7 and they wanted to speak to Linda.

Linda took the call in a haze of excitement and a little confusion. Jeremy retold Linda’s heartbreaking story and then introduced Linda to Lenerd Louw the CEO of 1life direct. He had heard Linda’s story and was truly moved by it and decided that the company would like to get involved and help further Linda’s studies.

They very generously sponsored Linda’s college fees so that he can continue to study his Diploma in Travel and Tourism. Coupled with this they will also pay for Linda to stay in accommodation close to the college. This will support Linda’s education fully as he will be able to live and study in a safe and secure environment.

On Monday 3rd December Linda was invited to the 1life direct offices where he met Lenerd Louw and all the other staff. It was a great opportunity for Linda to talk to his sponsors and be exposed to a corporate environment.
