Golf Days

The Tomorrow Trust in conjunction with MSC Sports, hosted a Celebrity Golf Day fundraiser on the 19th of September at the Houghton Golf Course. Some of South Africa's finest sportsmen gathered in a Mantis Security sponsored golf day, in aid of The Tomorrow Trust.

This year's celebrity challenge saw celebrities such as Neil Tovey, Clive Rice, John Robbie, Andre Watson, Neil McKenzie, Adam Bacher, Mark Williams and Vaughn van Jaarsveld take to the course.

The format was 3ball plus 'pick a celebrity name out of a hat' before the start of the round and partner with that celebrity for the day. In addition to the overall competition the celebrities were competing in their own competition.

One of MSC Sports' core competencies is the ‘production and sale' of signed memorabilia and an auction of highly exclusive memorabilia was conducted at the prize giving dinner, with the proceeds going to The Tomorrow Trust.

"We are thrilled with the outcome of the event and look forward to hosting another golf day in conjuction with MSC Sports again, in 2007. We hope to make it even bigger and better next year. Working with Mantis Security, our sponsor, has been a pleasure and the MSC Sports team helped to deliver a fantastic event with lots of on the course activity. It was a very busy, enjoyable day for all" said Bronwyn Feldwick-Davis, the golf day event co-ordinator for the Tomorrow Trust."
