Twelve of South Africa's most reputable and respected charities, including the Tomorrow Trust, are the founding members and owners of The Giving Organisation. Kim Feinberg, CEO and Founder of the Tomorrow Trust is also on the board of trustees of the Giving Organisation.

On the 12th October, the launch of the Giving Organisation was held at the Gallagher Estate in Midrand. Gust speakers included Archbishop Desmond Tutu, patron of the Giving Organisation and Dr Penuell Maduna. Kim Feinberg gave the vote of thanks and presented Archbishop Tutu with a gift.

The vision of The Giving Organisation will provide society with the opportunity to contribute their small change and amounts not impacting on their lives to good causes. This includes:

These 12 founding organisations decided to unify their resources, strengths and brand-power to form a united force to transform society. Due to the potential magnitude of the projects by The GivingOrganisation, the founding members opened their hearts to other worthy causes and organisations that will also benefit from this promising concept.
